A few weeks ago, we went on a trip to Hawaii with some of our favorite friends and their families. We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again! Everytime we go there, Mitch and I have the same conversation..."how can we figure out how to live out here?" We feel at home there in Hawaii and love it so much...but we also love it here! But it is fun to dream about! We had the best time and it was so hard to pick the pictures so get ready...there are probably around 100, but that is ok because this is my only real photo album and I love pictures. So, deep breath, here we go!
Love how Jadey is kissing Mitch back in this one.
My sister Kait is going to school in Hawaii so I was lucky enough to hang out with her every day and she also babysat for all of us three of the nights, which was amazing of her! Here she is my little ones...they sure love there kait! Who doesn't though?
There were so many gorgeous sunsets...
Playing out in "our beach" right in front of Pipeline.
Jeff and Derek and there two little future Pipe Surfers
This is the house we rented out...it is one of my favorite places on earth. We have stayed there a few times now, and it is better every time. It is right on the beach on Pipe.
Here is everyone walking down from the house to hang out on the beach
Here is Kjerstin and McKay...this was so cute and fun, I'm glad I got these shots!
This is Erin giving her little Merrick kisses
Micah and Auden...what can I say, they both like long walks on the beach.
No big deal, that is just our new friend Jack Johnson sitting there right next to us on the beach...our second official hang out session! He was so cool and so normal, his mom lives next to the house that we rent so he walked over through the fence and talked to us for about 15 minutes and then the next day they came and sat next to us on Rocky Point Beach. He was really friendly and cool the whole time.
And here is his son Lao hanging with Auden.
My Micah
Jack, just practicing.
I'm not sure what Micah was doing but I had to take a picture of it!
Sweet Jade...love that crying face!
The kids and their daddy's had so much fun on the boogie board as the boys pulled back and forth and spun the around in circles.
Stunning!
Kjerstin and Jeff, love this picture of them! We lucked out becoming friends with them! With all of these couples! McKay is absent in this shot, probably already asleep.
Derek, Britt, Jack and baby boy on the way. Love them and Miss them already.
Jamas, Erin, Auden and Merrick, such a fun family, can't wait until next trip.
Just checking out the waves together.
On sunday we went to the temple and the visitors center in Laie. Love this shot of my little family.
Precious moment!
This is the whole crew! It was a full house!
All the kiddos...they actually just sat there still for like a whole minute...we were all in shock!
Jade has to bring her little bear EVERYWHERE!
They became little buddies the whole trip! Love it!
This was such a cute picture of Auden and Merrick.
My little pouting Wahine.
Our little ones wandering the temple grounds
Earlier that day we went to a completely different kind of temple. A Buddhist temple, it was really beautiful. Jade had finally fallen asleep in the car and since he had already been there, he stayed with her in the car. Micah and I, along with our friends wandered, taking it all in.
I love that face so much!!!
Buddah
There was this really romantic bamboo forest there, Micah and I explored...and left our mark.
We also stopped by the Lanikai Beach in Kilua, such a beautiful beach. It was sunday so we didn't rent the kayaks and have a fun picnic like we did last time we were there, but next time we will for sure. Just breath-taking!
Why am I so lucky? At least I know it and I'm grateful!
At Duke's in Waikiki, celebrating Jamas' birthday. So fun!
Here we are at our favorite, Kua Aina in Haleiwa. The home of the BEST avocado burger around, or in my case, the best Eggplant Avocado Burger around!
Boys being boys in front of Haleiwa Joe's.
The Haleiwa Bridge and Derek being his usual hysterical self.
The view from our house...there is Mitchy hanging out on the sand right down the little pathway.
These boys sure got some good waves out there, they all work so hard, they deserve it!
Andrew decided to fly out for a long weekend for his birthday, we're so glad he did, one of our favorite things about him is his spontaneity.
In search of a coconut...
Andrew and McKay, love this picture!
The backyard was so great, we put a little pool back there and the kids loved it!
typical Jadey.
Surfing on the boogie board
A view from the balcony of our backyard
Breakfast...so charming little Jade!
Jack and Jade, snuggling up
The master piggy backer!
Once again...she is so sneaky, how did she get into my makeup again???
This was her face when we showed her what she had created! Stunned!
It was Auden's birthday, so the kids decorated cupcakes together, they loved it.
When given the choice, Jade with always choose to eat the frosting rather than frost with it.
But Jack won the award!
Love that sweet little tongue!
The birthday girl!
It was such a fun trip! Would do it again in a heart beat! Such fun memories!

Hi! Total creeper alert - sorry! I'm a landlocked mama planning a Hawaiian vacay for my little family next spring. We are planning on going to the north shore somewhere... and this spot looks just absolutely perfect! Could you refer me to the rental agency for the bungalow you rented? Thanks!
Hi There - I know this post is really old but I stumbled across it while looking for rental options for the north shore of Oahu. Would you be willing to share the contact information for this amazing rental? It looks perfect for our annual "friend-cation". I think the commentator before me had the same question but I didn't see a response :) thanks!
