As We Walk In Fields Of Gold

We went on a fun family walk the other night on the headlands in Dana Point. It was beautiful. We had so much fun.
Micah learned how to keep warm from his Daddy...

Jade has to bring her bear EVERYWHERE! It's pretty cute.

Mitch and Micah getting all warmed up! I was laughing because I haven't seen anyone do that since like 4th grade! But Mitch was like that for like 1 1/2 hours. Micah was running around so he wasn't too cold.

Hugs for Daddy

Mitch and Micah ran a head of us and then looked kind of guilty when I walked up with Jadey...and this was why!!! BOYS!

It was so beautiful, we'll be back soon, with a few more jackets!

He definitely keeps life interesting...

There are about a million reasons why I love my husband, too many to count! One of my favorite reasons is that he makes me laugh all day every day! Maybe I just adore him so much that I think everything he does is funny...but it is! He has such a crazy and unique sense of humor, but here are a few things that I caught on film that make me giggle.

So, for dinner one night, he felt like having cereal, which I loved...any way, all of our spoons were in the dish washer and they were dirty, so instead of washing a spoon by hand, this is how he ate his cereal. I looked over at him and couldn't believe it, is he serious about eating his cereal with that spoon?

We recently moved, and Mitch was suppose to be putting the boxes together and I walked into the room and there they were, my children, (aka my husbands toys), all packed up and ready to go!
I guess I can't leave packing tape and my children in the same room with Mitchy! He's just too much fun!

While we were in Hawaii, Micah fell asleep on the floor and he was out...and so mitch of course had to play a little.
This is what we ended up with...I wasn't in the room! Poor baby!

What do you get when Mitchy gives the kids a bath????
A baby with a mohawk!

Anyway, a small glimpse into my everyday life! I love that I get to be married to him! He brings the joy...He's like the sun!

Our Little Lucky Charm

My sweet Baby turned 2 on March 17th! She's our little St. Patrick's Day Baby. She is so fun and adorable. She keeps us laughing all the time! She loves to be the center of attention and loves to make people laugh. She is feisty, a little fire cracker. But she is also a sweet daddy's girl! She adores Micah and loves to play, play, play! And I couldn't imagine life without her!

She got some Princess shoes and she was in HEAVEN!!! She always wears my heels so I thought this would be the perfect gift! And she was so thrilled, she tried desperately to wear them to church yesterday, she wore them to the park the day before and she wears them to bed every night, so I guess they were a success! She got lots of other fun gifts from the Grandparents too! They are all too generous!

One of the many reasons why I love my parents house...the view! Every single evening, right before the sunsets, everyone in the house starts yelling "the sun is setting, the sun is setting!" and who ever is there is basically forced to go outside on the deck and sit in one of the rocking chairs and watch as the sun disappears into the water. It is kind of funny, but we just really love it!
And Micah was talking to me the other day about the sun and moon and I said that the sun goes to bed, but then he stopped me and said that the sun goes down to play in the ocean and then the moon comes out. And I asked who he heard that from and he said, "Mom, I've seen it, every time at Gigi's house!" So cute that he determined that the sun was going to play as it dove down into the ocean! Love him!

Jade got a little stroller, which she loved to race round the house with, Micah and Jade now fight over racing it around every day!

Jade loved when people sang to her, she was singing to herself all day long. My sister called and sang to her on the answering machine, and she sang along and when the message was over, she would say "again, again!" So, basically, we listened to it like 20 times!

Love my girl!

Welcome to Wonderland

Me and a few friends of mine threw a Mad Hatter Tea Party for our little ones. We had so much fun and they were loving every moment of it! Above is Micah (The Mad Hatter) and his best friend and future love Ava (Alice).

Wendy was such a beautiful hostess and she is also a very talented baker. She makes wedding cakes and was sweet enough to teach me how to make a fun fondant cake. So basically I watched and she created this fun Mad Hatter cake!

Jade (The White Rabbit)

Our little white Rabbit was desperately trying to get a little sip.

Shea was our Queen of Hearts!

Ava was in HEAVEN the whole tea party as you can imagine!

I was loving it too!

The Gorgeous Hostess, Wendy.

One of my very best friends Ashley and the Queen of Hearts swinging away the afternoon.

Taylor, was a TULIP from Alice's Live Flower Patch!

Melis, who came up with the idea for the Alice inspired tea party.

Wendy, who came up with such a creative and fun idea for edible tea cups.

The kids took turns pouring the "tea" (Apple juice) for the others and they loved when it was their turn.

Caden and his mama!

Jade must have had like thirty cups of "tea"!

R2- Love those big eyes!

Wendy has a great house for a party but my absolute favorite part was the adorable swing hanging from the old tree in the front yard! When I get a house I hope there is an old beautiful tree that I can hang a swing from. Swinging, like I have said in previous posts is one of my favorite things in the world to do! I just feel so free, almost like I am flying and so it was really fun to spend a little time alone the night before (before and after making the cake) swinging out there under the stars at midnight! Love!

The kiddos loved it too of course!

Our Future Best Friends!
