It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

I love this time of year and I look forward to this night each year...the night we decorate the tree! Here we are last year...they have grown up so much!!! (This is our annual christmas picture!) Aren't they adorable? And we have another sweet little addition! I know this will be my favorite Christmas yet...I feel so blessed!

This shot wasn't posed...they were just giving loves to each other!

My three little ones!

Decorating the Tree

Sweet Sleepy Asher

Micah, dancing like a wild man...every night Mitch puts on loud music, usually the Black Eyed Peas, and tells Micah and Jade to "dance their wiggles out" before they go to bed! It is so funny and a fun little family tradition! This night Micah was rockin' out to Christmas music though!

Our Littlest Miracle

Love my little angel! Straight from Heaven!

All my boys! I am so in love with every single one of them! So so grateful!!!!

There is one of his adorable dimples! I love his little dimples...just like his daddy!

Asher loves to stare at his Daddy whenever he gets a chance, and Mitch stares right back. So sweet and peaceful!

This is the first time Jade and Micah came into the hospital to meet their baby brother. Micah was instantly in love and couldn't get enough of him...and still can't! All he wants to do is hold him and kiss and hug him all day long! Jade was a little more concerned with chocolate than the baby at first, but then she looked around the room and said, "where's that baby?" She loves her little brother too and talks to him all day in the funniest, highest baby talk voice ever! It cracks me up!

Welcome to the World!

Asher Holland Lundquist

We received the best surprise we could ever hope for when our newest little one decided to join us a few weeks early! He was born on November 22. He is perfect in every way! We all couldn't be happier or more grateful!!!
Here are just a few shots that some family took...mostly from cell phones! Haven't uploaded any of ours yet. Someday!

Halloween

These were our pumpkins this year, that they carved at my mom's house, especially with Auntie Kait and Auntie Aimee, so they were all the more special! Micah wanted a "scary bat" and Jade wanted a "happy ghost". They loved how happy and scary their pumpkins were!

This year Micah was a Knight in Shining Armor. My sweet sister, Aimee brought the costume home for Micah from England. She was doing study abroad there this summer. He loved it! Jade then decided that she also wanted to be a Knight in Shining Armor. I tried to convince her to be a Princess in Shining Armor, but she wasn't buying it. When we brought out the costume box, she found he Lady Bug costume from last year and decided, if she could be a real Knight, she would only be a Lady Bug. No matter how hard I tried to get her to be something else! She loved the wings! And so for the second year in a row...our Jadey Bug was a Lady Bug! Here she is last year...she is getting so big!

Micah loved his sword! I love his sweet face in this shot!

We were about to head off to our church Halloween Extravaganza and so I was taking a few pictures of the kiddos in their costumes and out walks my bazaar and crazy husband in his "purple pants"! We love the purple pants! He has had those since high school and pulls them out every now and then and I have to say, I kind of love them...is that weird? Well, Mitch is not a dress up kind of guy. It is like pulling teeth trying to get him to dress up...except when it comes to the purple pants! Well, I had no idea that he was dressing up too. So, when he walked out dressed like that, it gave me the green light to dress up too...what was I? A 20's flapper...a dress I got for $5 at H&M for any time I ever need a costume! The kids were so shocked to see Mitch like that they just kept staring at him! It was pretty funny. Then, as we are driving to the party, I mentioned that it was a combined 5 ward party and Mitch's face dropped! He thought it would just be our small ward...he almost turned around and then decided that he didn't care, he would don the pants anyway and he did!

Definately the highlight of the party for the kids was the bouncy slide! Here they are going with Mitch's brother Blake and sister, Bree!

Since Halloween was on Sunday this year, we decided to stay in and have a fun family dinner of delicious Green Goblin Pasta! And the kids got to hand out the candy! They loved it! It was so cute, they just sat by the door and waited impatiently for the next trick-or-treater! Jade kept walking outside and yelling in her shrieky voice to kids that she saw across the street or down the street, "kids, I have candy, kids come to my house!" It was so funny! We went to lots of fun parties and had a very Happy Halloween this year!

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!!!!

This is what I have been doing over the past month! We are officially homeowners! Yay! As soon as we saw the house, we fell in love and it just felt like home! So fun to have a place to settle down and call home...especially since I will be having a baby in 4 weeks! I am so blessed and grateful and I love my husband!!!!

School Year's Eve

I got the funnest idea from one of my good friends, Jaryn. Every year, the night before her kids start school, they have a special dinner in honor of the new student! They get to pick out the menu and then Jaryn picks a theme for the year that their family will focus on and then the child receives a father's blessing. I love traditions and this one in particular, so I told her that I had to adopt it! And we did! And we love it! Thanks Jaryn!

So, our sweet Micah Man was the guest of honor. He was about to start his second year of preschool. And even though Jade wasn't starting school, she loved celebrating with the rest of us!

We made a toast to the new school year!

Jade LOVES carbonated drinks and mommy never lets her have them, so she was in heaven when she got this carbonated French Berry Lemonade! It was way too "spicy" for Micah! So funny!

The Menu picked out especially by Micah was:

~Caprese Salad or "cucumbers and tomatoes without the dressing for the kiddos"

~Fresh Bread

~French Berry Lemonade

~Berry Sorbet topped with fresh berries for Dessert

(*A couple of the recipes are on my recipe blog if you're interested.)

We had a little lesson after dinner about our theme. We chose to focus on the Golden Rule. So, we'll be working on that all year. It was such a fun night!

Micah's first day of school. Love this little guy more than anything!

Poor Jade desperately wants to go to school with Micah and whenever we drop him off, she has to bring "her backpack" which is Micah's old backpack. And then she cries everyday we drop him off. Saying "My Micah, My Micah!"...been like two weeks now...so sad!!!!

Micah and his fun cousin Jack. Jack goes to the same school but the afternoon session, which Micah is not ok with! He wants Jack to go to the morning class with him!

Me and my little man! (Actually, both my little men...the other one is just in my tummy!)

Micah loves to paint, and I love seeing his little works of art that he comes home with each day!
