Parlor Hawk

The first time I ever met Drew, my brother-in-law, before he and Elise got married, I heard him sing a song that he wrote about Elise. He was embarrassed to do it but we kind of forced him to. I instantly became obsessed with his voice and sound! Without being too annoying, I tried to get him to sing a little something every time we saw each other. If it were up to me, I would be listening to him play and sing all day, every day! Well...now that is possible and I am so thrilled about it! His band, Parlor Hawk just released their first album and are now also available on iTunes!

Mitch loves them too and has their CD playing in his car constantly on repeat and my little Jade believes that every boy she hears singing any song is Uncle Drew, but Micah knows better and corrects her telling her if it is or is not Uncle Drew. Jade just hears a song playing anywhere and says in the most excited voice, "Drew, Drew!!" Oh, and they both love to dance to his music too!

Yes, the whole family is obsessed, but not because it is Drew, it really is the music. It is my kind of music through and through. It kind of transports you to a different place and I love music that I can really feel the soul of the artist, and that is what this music is for me.
