Introducing...My Recipe Blog!

I just created a new recipe blog! It is a perfect opportunity to document my recipes so they are in one place and also to share my favorite recipes with my friends! I would love to get feedback from you if you try a recipe, tell me what you think, if you altered it and how (might give me ideas too) and any tips you might have! I absolutely love to cook! My mom is the most incredible cook EVER! I got my love for cooking from her! So, a lot of these recipes are straight from her kitchen!

Most of you know that I am a vegetarian and so I am always looking for new and exciting recipes to make our dinners flavorful and delicious! And to make Mitch not feel like he is missing out! So, here it is...ENJOY!

By the way, I don't know why they are both kissing pictures...I only took a few, but Kait has all the rest, so until I get those shots, these will have to do!

We went to Marcus Waite, who is AMAZING! (He is also one of my best friends brother-in- laws... Rachel, who is also a very talented hair stylist, but who moved to Provo...so sad!)

I love him, he is such a great guy too! He is so talented. He works at Ahsi in Newport on Lido (949) 675-2474! Book him!

The Reunion...

We had some friends over for dinner the other night! It was such a blast! It was kind of like a mini high school reunion! Can't wait to do it again!

The Feast...Bruschetta, Lasagna Rolls, Mushroom Alfredo, Watermelon, Ceasar Salad and Strawberry Cupcakes! (Thanks everyone for bringing things! Everything was really great!)

Aimee made the most beautiful cupcakes I have ever seen! They were strawberry and they we delicious!!! They tasted as good as they looked!

Bruschetta, my favorite!

I made these Lasagna Rolls, it is one of my favorite recipes from Giada, but I changed a few things. I love it because it is a good vegetarian meal, so for a dinner party with non-vegetarians, no one will feel like they are missing out on anything by having to eat something without meat! I made it with spinach, artichoke hearts and pine nuts. I am actually going to start a recipe blog in the next couple days, so I will put the recipe on there! Stay Tuned!

Jake, Micah and Halle! (Jake's not into hugs so much!) The kids played together the whole night beautifully! It was so fun!

One of Those Days...

Having a bad hair day??? They happen all too often in Jade's case...her feathers were a little ruffled this morning...actually all day long!

Just Kickin' Back!

This cracked me up, we were at the mall the other day and Jade was just kickin' back, eating a cookie, putin' her feet up! Her personality is really coming out lately and I am completely obsessed with her, she is so feisty and kind of sassy (in a cute way) and she is also hysterical, she loves to laugh and make other people laugh!

(P.S. Mitchy, don't worry about those bags on the back of the stroller, I swear they are returns, I am almost sure of it! Love you!!!)

Bath Time!

Bath Time is Micah and Jade's favorite time of day, they love playing in the bath! They can stay in there for up to an hour! It's like our own little private pool!

One On One!

Micah came up to me the other day with my camera, handed it to me and said, "Mommy, can we do a one on one?" And I said, "Sure, what do you want to do?" And he said, "take pictures"! What? I guess that is a little easier than ice cream or a bike ride!

Carousel

We all went out to dinner and to take a ride on the carousel the other night. They were both loving every second of it! Micah kept yelling and waving to Mitch and Jade kept screaming "Woo, Woo" the whole time with a huge grin on her face! It was so fun to watch them!
