Beach Party

We had a beach party and Volleyball tournament in our ward about a month or so ago. Mitchy was in the tournament and he did a really great job for not playing volleyball for years- if ever...

Micah especially loved the "water balloon toss". He was in heaven!!! I think that was his first water balloon experience, poor thing, I need to get on that!

And Jade...well Jade ate the whole time.

And I, I just happily watched them all!

Micah & Grandpa's Disney Adventures

My Dad has a deep childhood love for DisneyLand. He always has and I think it is still a magical place for him. So, for Father's Day, we got him his first DisneyLand Annual Pass ever. And so he has been able to take Micah several times. They love going together and they have so much fun! Their favorite ride is Space Mountain. Here are a few pictures of their adventures together.

Our Little Dance Party

We got to Micah's preschool early the other day and so to pass the time, I unbuckled Micah and Jade and we decided to have a dance party! Micah loved every second of it, he was jumping around and dancing like crazy. We were laughing the whole time. I love moments like this!

Jade, who is usually a little dancing queen, only cared about buckling her car seat! She has been so into buckling all things! She cries if I buckle her by myself, she needs to help or do it herself every time. She is definitely a girl who knows what she wants!

Jade and Micah both have the same two favorite songs right now and they start dancing every time they come on, first is "Viva La Vida"...but who doesn't dance whenever they hear that song? And the second is Regina Spektor's live version of "Us". Every time it comes on, my kiddos start clapping and cheering, (just like the audience in the song) and then they start dancing and whenever it is over or even when it gets closer to the end, Jade starts moaning "ahhn, ahhn". Which means that she wants me it start it over again. And Micah knows all the words. They both love music so much, I am not sure if it is just them or if all children are the same, but I sure love it! They know how to make a car ride fun!

Just Me and My Baby Girl!

Don't get me wrong, I am obsessed with Micah, but while he has been at preschool and loving it, Jade and I have been able to spend some serious quality time together and I have cherished every second of it! She is such a fun, feisty, hysterical little angel! She really has a great sense of humor and she loves to make people laugh, she just lights up.

We have been spending a lot of time reading, going to the little park by our house, practicing animal sounds and tickling, she loves tickling me- cutest thing ever. And then we get to go pick up Micah and hear him enthusiastically give us every detail of his school day. Lucky me!

By the way, I am dying, because this cute outfit that Jade is wearing, besides the boots, is actually a size 3-6 month. She is 18 months. I love it because Micah grew out of his clothes so quickly and it is so nice to get to use Jade's clothes for so long!

A Day At the Petting Zoo...

The other day, we went to a birthday party for Harry Shupe. It was at Zoomars, a fun little petting zoo in San Juan. It was a great party and the little ones had so much fun! They loved the train, riding the pony, feeding the animals, and all the fun birthday stuff. Thanks Harry!

Micah just loved the pony, he felt so big and was thrilled to ride him! Jade sat on him, but started to freak out a little, so that didn't last long.

They got the train all to themselves.

We were given a basket of carrots to feed the animals. The carrots looked kind of old a dirty- I am telling you this because at one point I look down and both of my nasty children are eating the carrots!!! Disgusting! Seriously?

Feeding the Geese...these were really the only animals that would eat...I think all the bunnies were full to the brim! They have probably been full for the past 10 years!

Micah was in the car with my mom when he got a hold of a lint roller and decided to go to town on his hair! It was stuck in there really good and it took a long, painful time to get it out!!! Kids!

All Dressed Up...

When Micah was at my parents house a few weeks ago, he fell on the driveway and got the biggest bump on his head that I have ever seen!!!

I mean...look at that sucker!!!

But I think the popsicle is quickly making everything better!
